Presenting sweet Olivia! She is 11 inches tall and has been having lots of fun with her wooly friends in the studio but is hoping for a new home and a beloved best friend to share adventures. We have been enjoying the colorful autumn leaves outside the windows and today, we met a little deer!
Dear Olivia will be a delightful friend and is just the right size for little hands. She is stuffed medium firm with double and sometimes triple stitching for durability. I've attached her arms on the outside below the neck which allows them to hang a bit more naturally. Her legs bend at the hip and her feet are stitched across to create a curve, which allows her to more easily wear her crocheted shoes.
The materials that I've used to create little Olivia are as follows: premium DeWitte Engel cotton interlock doll skin fabric from The Netherlands in shade "6114", cleaned and carded wool from Canada, Weir Crafts Mohair Yarn for selling her hair in the shade "Camel", DMC cotton floss for the face stitches and Gutermann thread for the sewing of the doll and the clothing. I've made Olivia's adorable tunic top with Monaluna organic poplin from the "Modern Love" collection. It closes in the back with two metal snaps and has a charming wooden flower decoration, firmly stitched, on the front. She has cuddly soft organic cotton velour knickerbockers in the shade "Coral" and she wears organic striped knit panties. All clothing fabric has been washed with natural detergent and dried to help avoid shrinkage later. Olivia's shoes are crocheted from Manos del Uruguay extra fine Merino. Her rosy cheeks are blushed with Stockmar beeswax crayon No.1.

Each of my dolls is lovingly created according to Waldorf pedagogy, which values the role of imaginative play in the development of the child. The doll's minimalistic features allow her to better respond to the child's emotions and creative play. As the doll is held she will become warm and absorb the scent of the child and his or her environment.

Due to small parts, Olivia is not intended for children under 3. Spot cleaning, when necessary, is recommended. Clothing may be hand washed and air dried. This listing is for one doll, as shown. She is not able to stand or sit unassisted. Any photo props are not included.
