Product code: Vintage 60's Nubby Tweed 2-Piece Suit in selling Salmon Pink and Green - Size M

Very cool color combination on this vintage early to mid 60's ladies suit. Please look at the closeups! It is a heavy wool tweed in salmon pink and green, and the lining is a green acetate. The suit jacket could also definitely be wore alone as a great Fall/Winter coat! The collar is 3" wide.

The jacket has long sleeves and is a longer length with two back vents. It has three pretty green plastic carved buttons which resemble bakelite (they are not bakelite) There are two side hip pockets on the jacket which are also lined.

The skirt is a knee length or slightly below the knee pencil skirt with a side zip waist and two kick pleats in the back which are 3" long. Skirt is fully lined. There are no labels in the suit but is appears to be professionally made.

Measurements when flat are:
Jacket: 20-21" across bust pit to pit
unfitted waist
23" across bottom of jacket
23" long sleeves
15" across back shoulders
29" long from back neck to bottom

Skirt:
13" across waist
19.5" max across hips
25" long

This set is in Excellent vintage condition. There are no rips or tears and lining also is free of same. I found one nibble on the jacket sleeve which would not photograph just above wrist. The zipper on skirt works fine. This has not been dry-cleaned and I would recommend that prior to wearing. Piece has no funky odors just a little dusty smelling from storage.

Please ask all questions before you purchase as all items are sold as is, no returns. All items come from a non smoking home, but I do own pets! I do not dry clean my items unless noted.

*Please keep in mind that my vintage garments are usually at a minimum
20 years old and in many cases 50 up to 100 years old. They are not pristine. There may be a stitch or two broken at a seam, or pin holes. I do strive to describe garments accurately and honestly, but there is a very fine line between “vintage charm” and “flawed”. Please keep this in mind when purchasing a vintage garment and use the chart below to assist you in condition descriptions*
