Vintage MCM Fire King Tree of Life Platter With Stand Tray is removable from stand. Tray is 14” long 10” wide 1” tall. Some wear to the silver, but no chips or breaks in the glass or wood. The walnut wood stand is 2.5” tall Anchor Hocking Co. was a manufacturer of glassware founded in 1905 by Isaac Jacob Collins in Lancaster, Ohio. They merged with Anchor Cap in 1937. From 1937-1983 they operated the oldest glass manufacturing plant in the U.S. which was established in 1863 in Salem, NJ. Anchor Hocking was a major producer of Depression Glass, calling the first glassware they produced in 1939, Royal Ruby. Anchor Hocking also produced Forest Green Glass, Fire King, and Anchor Ovenware. The company was acquired by Newell Co. in 1987.
