Vintage Rare Russian Fairy Tales Book Arthur Ransome- Children's Book- selling English, Kid's Book, Illustrated by Erica Gorecka-Egan- First Edition

Rare first edition!! Only 2050 copies of this book were printed, and while many people believe the first edition was in 1946, this one is actually dated on the inside with an inscription, "To my darling Judy- Xmas 1945 -Aunt Thelma." The book follows the Russian fairy tales of Arthur Ransome and the illustrations are by Erica Gorecka-Egan, a renowned children's book illustrator who even had an exhibit at MoMA in 1946, right after she illustrated this work. The book is in English and has 122 pages and 10 stories. It comes with a very very worn slipcover but the book itself is in good condition. Some wear on the spine and the binding (as pictured) and some pages are worn but aside from the inscription, there is no writing in or on the book that I can find.
