It is combination of black ceramic and raku glazing.

Raku pottery is the pottery that's fired raku style. This is a process where the pottery is fired low, and it's inspired by traditional raku firing. It involves taking the pottery out of the kiln while it's got the red heat to it, and from there, putting it in a container with burnable materials. You let the materials ignite, and from there, you close the container. This creates a super reduction atmosphere, which can affect the glaze colors when doing this. It can also create cracking or crackling, but in this, it's actually deliberate, not something on accident.
