This maru obi has a brocade of many colors including a significant amount of gold silk on the outside and inside as the pattern continues. These where made for very formal occasions including selling weddings. As you can see there are hawks, leaves, and flowers that are hand sewn. There looks to be only a few stains as seen in photos, overall its in great condition or better. As with all vintage clothing, a dry cleaning is highly recommended.
