Large Rustic Merging Goblet from Spalted Walnut Wood selling

This beautiful, Spalted Walnut Wood, Natural Edge, Merging Goblet, was carved from a single branch of an old Walnut tree harvested in North Carolina.
The "Merging" Goblet was crafted to give the effect that the Goblet has risen from the chunk of wood it rests on. All of the beautiful natural feature of the wood (i.e. the broken edges, the worm holes and natural cracks) have been carefully preserved to maintain the true nature of the original wood, but at the same time, present it in a beautiful art form. This Spalted Walnut Wood Goblet is very massive and heavy and definitely is not a "dainty" Goblet! It's made to be purely decorative and is selling not meant to hold liquid. It's finished with 5 to 6 coats of Polyurethane Gloss. It's very rustic and one of a kind!
