Vintage Handmade Miniature Birdhouse Bird Lover Gift


It's captivating! Made from selling rusted iron, sticks, wire and a small round piece for the perch this handmade birdhouse is highly engineered and at the same time bursting with ingenuity and charm. The slanted top is welded to the enclosed “birdhouse” which made from flat piece of very thin metal bent into the shape of a box. The bottom is welded to a metal platform. Tiny twigs and thin wire outline the edges, quasi-decoratively. Delicate perforations enhance the front and top drawing attention to and echoing the circular entrance. It is held in place on a small round post with the help of tiny nails carefully hammered into a strip of thin metal welded to the bottom platform.
