This piece is created with a palette knife, allowing me to put down thick expressive layers of oil paint. .

These sunset over water paintings give me a lovely opportunity to mix up colours that I don't often get to use. They purples, oranges, fuchsia and buttery yellows are very enjoyable to work with! This work is painted with oils on 1/4 inch thick wood panel. It will be varnished with a saw tooth picture hanger attached to the back.
