This is a men's English wool overcoat dating to the 1950s. The wool is blended with cashmere and woven in a fine houndstooth pattern. The coat has high set medium width notched lapels and padded shoulders. It has a three button front and has a large flapped patch pocket at either side as well a 16 1/2” centre kick vent at the bottom back. It is cut with a slight flare through the body to the hemline. The sleeves are finished with turned half cuffs. It is half lined in grey satin fabric. The wool is of a lighter weight so more appropriate for cool winter temperatures rather than harsh cold.

Condition: This coat is in very good condition - no pronounced wear, tear, soiling or odour. This has been well cared for and stored over the years.
