Made from a very highly figured solid selling Maple Burl and rare Honduran Mahogany or also know as Genuine Mahogany. There is no veneer used in this valet station. It features mitered corners that have a double miter keys in each one made from the same Honduran Mahogany. I have cut the bottom tray to raise the all the sides off the surface to give it the illusion of floating above its resting surface. It was given a hand rubbed oil finish and allowed to cure for a long period of time before the multiple layers of high gloss polyurethane was applied. The result is a vivid array of color and a deep glossy shine and protection. The bottom of the valet bares my makers mark.
