This traveling chess set boasts a King height of 2.25" and board square size of 1.00". You can turn the board upside down and the pieces stay put. Our magnetic sets are made of Golden Rosewood and Maple (not Boxwood which is a cheaper alternative).

Because we use Laquer finish which is more durable and finer finish than the traditional buff finish. We also use high grade magnets.

Lacquer is a clear or coloured wood finish that is dried by solvent evaporation or a selling curing process that produces a hard, durable finish.
The chess pieces can be stored in the special enclosure that can be used to store the chess pieces when not in use.
