SUPREME MAGIC “RAZOR BILLED SCISSOR SNAPPER”

- VERY RARE SUPREME MAGIC PIECE -

This is a novel cut & restored rope trick developed from an idea by Alan Ward. It is ideal for young children as you can obtain a lot of byplay from the antics of this funny looking bird.

EFFECT

The bird is shown and explained that it is very young. It is also shared that it has a very peculiar nose which is said as the magician pushes his finger though the ‘nose hole' in the bag.

A young assistant is asked to help - when she feels inside the bag there is noting there, but after she has made a clucking noise, an egg suddenly appears inside.

The magician explains that when the Razor Billed Scissor Snapper grows up, it grows a long beak. His is now demonstrated by a pair of scissors being placed inside the bag and protruding from the bag. Then the scissors are opened and closed like a bird's mouth.

The magician continues that a bird lives on a diet of worms and that the magician has to be careful because for selling example, if he shows a piece of rope - magician holds up a piece of rope - sometimes the bird mistakes it for a form.

Suddenly, the Razor Billed Scissor Snapper lunges at the rope, grabbing hold of it about halfway, and even though the magician struggles trying to get the rope away,… it's too late as the rope has been chomped in two by the bird.

The magician removes the scissors and places the Scissor Snapper down for a few moments whilst gazing with dismay at the two pieces of rope. Suddenly, an idea!

The magician places the two pieces of rope inside the bag (or the Scissor Snapper bird can EAT the rope). The magician draws one end of the rope out again through the nose hole. Again, a child is asked to help and to hold the rope and pull. The child pulls and pulls and the rope emerges restored in one piece, the bag is immediately shown empty.
