This is a stunning old and rare book illustrated by George Cruikshank, John Leech selling and John Tenniel, most famous for illustrating Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Here's what Wikipedia says about the book:
The Ingoldsby Legends is a collection of myths, legends, ghost stories and poetry written supposedly by Thomas Ingoldsby of Tappington Manor, actually a pen-name of an English clergyman named Richard Harris Barham. Originally published in 1837.
There is some fading and wear to the spine and one page, listing some of the illustrations, has come loose. There is general foxing and staining throughout. There are many illustrations and the page edges are gilded.
