The Drop Pouch is the ultimate companion piece to our Trotter Lanyard and Ensign Rope Belt - a supple, yet durable cowhide leather pouch featuring an optional drawstring closure and solid brass hardware. WHY DROP? - ORIGIN STORY
Our first collection featured pieces only made with deerskin which we love for its groovy vibes and super soft feel. For our second collection, we wanted a piece that the wearer could dive in and out of all day long and barely be aware it's there. Kind of like an extra pocket. But bigger. And with no bulk. Just something to “Drop” your stuff in...an itty bitty grab bag. We discovered a cowhide, tanned and conditioned to feel like deer but holds its form and maintains its shape and integrity. That was a good day!

Tip: We recommend using the drawstring closure when carrying smaller items. When toting taller items you keep grabbing for — like your phone — just let the drawstrings hang.

IMPORTANT INFO: There may be slight variations from pouch to pouch because they are made by hand! Each piece is crafted from naturally-dyed cowhide, and as is the nature of leather, hides can range in tone, texture and unique markings. We personally love these small differences as it makes each piece special, offering character and personality. Over time, this piece will patina and slightly soften as it becomes part of your everyday kit.

Cleaning selling instructions:
For leather, wipe softly with a slightly damp cloth. Once or twice a year, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to a soft cloth and gently rub over the piece. For brass, apply a pea sized amount of Brasso on a cloth and gently rub the tarnish away, avoiding the leather. Polish with a clean dry cloth.
