Ruby (in Sanskrit "ratnaraj": “King of the Gemstones”)
Rubies are one of the four “precious” gemstones (along with Diamond, Emerald and Sapphire), rare and valuable in any form.
The Ruby gemstone beads are strung on the highest quality coated, extreme strong, beading wire in 14K gold (49 strands). Each end of the gemstone bracelet features a crimp cover bead, while the end loops are finished off with wire protectors for better protection against wear (all in Gold Filled), which creates a strong and long lasting product.
Because these Rubies are very shiny and shimmery it is difficult to make pictures of them. I have made pictures from different angles and in various light to try to catch their beauty. Depending on the light they look sometimes more purple, sometimes more red.

What is Gold Filled?
A 14/20 Gold Filled piece is usually considered a lifetime piece of jewelry.
14/20 gold filled has a layer of gold that is more than 100 times thicker than even the highest quality vermeil or gold plating, and is measured not by thickness but by weight.
The term 14/20 gold-filled means that Gold filled items must contain, by law, 5% or 1/20 of gold by weight.
