Product code: Oaxaca selling Mexico Purple Dripware Pottery Creamer & Sugar Bowl w Lid c. 1930s

This set of creamer and sugar bowl with lid is an excellent example of the purple dripware pottery from Oaxaca in Southern Mexico circa 1930s.

Both pieces have "Mexico" on the bottom. Both are in fine condition with no cracks or chips though the inside of the sugar bowl lid has a couple of rough spots or small chips. See all of our photos for your best idea of condition.

The creamer stands 3.25 and the sugar bowl 3.75" (with lid), and the interiors (creamy-white colored) are clean.

When we first started collecting Mexican pottery many years ago this Oaxacan dripware was not hard to find, but it has become more so, particularly sets and in this condition.
