Antique Jewelry, Signed E I Franklin Silver Bracelet, Art Deco Jewelry, Art Deco Bracelet, Dainty Filigree selling Blue Rhinestone Antique Bracelet

Fantastic antique bracelet from E. I. Franklin & Company. The links of this bracelet were created in a form referred to as spider web filigree, a style that was very popular in the period from 1900 - 1920. It is open set with unfoiled marquise shaped blue rhinestones to mimic the look of genuine materials (there are also standard set round rhinestones). The initials of the company "EIF & Co. Patent Appl'd" are engraved on the inside of the safety clasp. The company was in business from about 1874 until about 1922 in Attleboro selling Massachusetts.

SIZE/CONDITION:

Excellent condition but for a chip at the end of one of the stones - approx. 2mm x 1mm at the end of the stone on the far left in picture 1. I have included a close up photo under magnification (see photo 5). Very difficult to see except under magnification - price has been adjusted to account for this issue. This bracelet is about 7" long and 3/8" wide.

NOTE:

This bracelet has an old, interesting clasp. In order to open, you raise the arm on the side and then move the small tab away from the arm (which releases the hook on the other end of the bracelet). See instructions in photos.
