Easy to clean wipe-able surface - submersible for hand washing. Features a raised rim and groove around the edge to keep juices on the platter and not flowing on the counter top or table, non skid rubber feet hold it in place while serving. Vintage 1960's Corning Ware Cornflower Blue Electromatic Warming Tray Model P-54, these warming trays were first introduced in 1964 in the Corning Ware Catalog for their "Electromatic" product line of Percolators, Electric Skillets, Counter Top Ranges and Warming Trays. This stamped P-54 Warming Tray is from the original P-Series of the Corning Ware Product line that were made. The Warming Tray is made of the original very durable Corning Ware Pyroceram glass material, the tray heats to a constant warm serving temperature to keep the food warm on top and ready for serving. No temperature dial to set - no light to watch...easy to use and is also portable. Very versatile warming tray that goes from counter top to table top or buffet for serving, the legs with rubber feet on the bottom of the tray provide a no-slip grip. The P-54 warming tray has an easy to clean wipe-able finish and is also submersible for hand washing. Tray plug in is stamped and reads: CORNINGWARE, MODEL P 54, 115 Volts, UL LISTED SYMBOL, 160 Watts. Tray comes with the removable Corning Ware Electromatic P-54-HC heater cord (color is black) which is the same exact cord used for the Corning Ware Electromatic line of Percolators, cord is very long and measures appx. 54" inches without including the plug in ends. The Corning Ware symbol (logo) is stamped on both ends of the heat cord proving it is an original factory issued cord and not a generic replacement cord.
