Vintage Sheaffer Touchdown Sentinel Lifetime Fountain Pen selling Pencil Set in Box

This is a vintage Touchdown Sentinel Lifetime fountain pen and pencil set selling by Sheaffer in the original box, c. 1949. The pen and pencil have green plastic barrels and stainless steel and gold filled caps. Each is adorned with a white dot indicating Sheaffer's lifetime guarantee. The set is in excellent estate condition, showing minor signs of wear. The pen barrel is inscribed as follows: "W.D Mottar, Jr." The pen measures approximately 5-1/8" long and the pencil is approximately 4-7/8" long. The pen features a 14k nib and touchdown filling system.
