Hand-dyed, acid dye, pure selling wool scarf, itajimi shibori, 36 x 80 inches

100% wool, loosely woven gauze fabric. The sides are closed selvage, and the ends are unwoven to form a short fringe. Super soft, and very light weight, neither heavy or bulky. Dyed using the itajimi shibori technique. I fold and clamp the fabric, then dye it. Often, I reposition the clamps and dye again with a different color to get additional colors and patterns. The result is a bold selling geometric design.
