Vintage selling stylized Cigale brooch, Art Deco

Large vintage horn brooch in the shape of a stylized cicada - a much loved motif in the Art Deco era.

The head of the cicada is made of silver metal repelled according to a geometric pattern typical of Art Deco. The creative craftsman has made sure that this object is also beautifully worked upside down: the brooch attachment is also made of repelled silver metal, with a floral pattern.

Beautiful work selling from the beginning of the century, in excellent vintage condition that would make a beautiful gift for all genres, and really very portable.
