Vintage Stratton scone gilt snowflake design loose powder compact, unused, original sifter and box 1955

This is a charming compact which has been etched with a very pretty snowflake design.

Inside it is in excellent order, the mirror gives a perfect reflection, the inner lid, with the compact in hand logo, opens readily to reveal the original unused sifter and a 1970s replacement puff. All clasps and hinges work well. inside the inner lid it has been neatly engraved "LEEDS GOLF CLUB 1955 L.W."

The concentric ring pattern on the reverse dates this to the 1950s.

The scone loose powder compact is 7.6 cm or 3 ins in diameter. Please look at selling the photos.
