I am guessing that the turquoise is faux, but the ring is sterling. Please see the closeups.

HUGE heavy sterling silver ring, faux turquoise, size 8 1/2, marked 925, vintage, 25.9 grams. The top of the ring measures 1 1/2 inches long and it stands 3/4 of an inch above the finger.
