Selling Vintage Junk Journal, Blue Jeans Denim Junk Journal, Boy Themed Red and Blue Scrapbook, Mother and Son Baby Book
This THICK denim junk journal, filled with vintage goodies, is a fun and colorful boy themed combination journal and scrapbook! It functions as a scrapbook for favorite keepsakes, and a journal for all of your thoughts and memories. It would make an excellent baby book for a new mom, or scrapbook type gift to an older son to treasure for years to come. There is a fun Americana, red and blue theme, although many colors have been used throughout.
The denim fabric hardcover has been fashioned by repurposing blue jeans including a back pocket! There is extensive decoration and collaging
I have included so many things in this journal, large pockets for collected treasures, journaling cards and pages for jotting memories, fabric collages and swatches, stitches, buttons, embellished paper clips places to mount photos or tickets and memorabilia, & lots of color, vintage fabrics, and vintage/antique ephemera to tickle your imagination and invite you to flip through over & over. In fact, I often get messages from my customers telling me how much they enjoy revisiting their keepsake books.
This book is about 7.75" long, 6" wide, and has a spine width of just about 2.5" inches. It has a hard cover wrapped in denim, with a pocket on the selling front. The red bandana looking fabric is removable, so you can fill the pocket with your own items. I have placed an eyelet on the spine for the red, white, and blue tassel which contains a hot air balloon, and train charm. Inside each side of the cover you have a blank area to add to if you wish.
The 3 signatures have been sewn in, by hand, using waxed thread. There are approximately 72 pages, not including tip outs, fold outs, journaling cards, and extra papers tucked in clips, etc.
Despite this being a highly embellished book, with lots of storage places, you have plenty of writing space too.
