Rebound in j. Hewit acid free vintage honey cloth, gilt stamped spine and new Shepards Machine Age Compatible end papers. Binding as new, internally about very good with overall page toning, page repairs pp. 73-80; sporadic small stains. The spine and top board gilt stamping matches the layout of the original cover which was in brown lettering.

Through her affiliation with the Boston Cooking School and scientific advancements, Miss Farmer made her first revision of the first selling edition in 1906. This copy is the first printing of the revised 2nd edition.

This is the staple classic American cookbook which has never been out of print and an opportunity for cookbook collectors to obtain a beautiful rebound version of the Second Edition (currently on the 13th Edition of 1990).
