Vintage late 1950s-60s S.A. selling (Sven Axel) Wetterling hatchet, nice condition Made in Sweden 1.12lb some original paint

One of the better axe companies still manufacturing today is SAW which stands for Sven Axel Wetterling who have been forging axes and implements since 1870 in Sweden. This is one of their smaller hatchets that would make a good woodsman, camping or backpacking hatchet. May need a little restoration as selling the handle has a crack and the resin seal on top is loosened as well which makes for a little wobble. The business end head though is the star, strong SAW mark and a nice edge. Has a 3" cut, a little peining on the poll it measures 5 1/2" front to back.
