1876 Map of Falls Township, Original Hand Colored Antique Map, Rare selling Bucks County Property Map for Framing
Original antique map of Falls Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. A large and scarce local property map, with beautiful original hand color and the names of individual property owners identified. Includes the towns and post offices of Morrisville, Oxford Valley, Penns Manor, and others. It is from the Combination Atlas of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, compiled, drawn and published by J.D. Scott in Philadelphia, 1876 (originally prepared in celebration of the Centennial coming to Philadelphia). It is an original antique map, not a modern reproduction.
The map has a nicely lettered title block and is finely detailed (with individual brush strokes from the original hand coloring visible). The map also identifies the names and locations of all the individual property owners throughout the area, making it a great resource for genealogical research.
