This '70s knit dress comes in a lovely shade of cream and features metallic gold selling horizontal stripes across the bodice and sleeves. A wide knitted band bisects the dress and creates shape. The mid-length skirt is adorned with gathered pleats front and back. Modest shoulder pads accentuate the silhouette. Zippered back closure (nylon coil teeth).
Excellent vintage condition. There's a cluster of three holes around the right shoulder (pictured), as well as a handful of miniscule brownish spots on the skirt (pictured). We lightly spot-washed the discolorations, and they lightened somewhat, so it's possible they could lift with a more thorough wash.
No branding or fiber content information. We suspect that the fabric is entirely or primarily acrylic; the gold stripes are made from a lurex-like metallic fiber.
