Product code: Old Cast bronze? mediterranean 2 handled jug selling vessel
I had someone look at this for me and they told me is was early 20th century-maybe 1900-1950, most likely of Mediterranean heritage. I forget if she said cast bronze or brass but I think bronze. Maybe one of you can tell. It weighs about 1 1/2 pounds, if that helps. The whole piece has a green hue to it from tarnish. It has two handles and if you look close, you can see the remnants of a faint striped looking pattern on them, which are wearing now. The integrity of the piece is quite good, no indentations or cracks. it stands about 6 1/2" tall. I made alot of very large pics you can zoom in on to see the tarnish metal etc. Really cool unique piece which I would love to selling really know more about.
