Constance Botanicals - Quilt Kit - All the fabric from Janet Clare's Botanicals selling Moda collection to piece the top and bind this lovely quilt.

This quilt is inspired by the florist Constance Spry as the design involves informally arranging lots of flowers as she loved to do. Constance features pretty wildflower, leaf, feather and speckle fabric prints in muted colours from Janet's 'Botanicals' collection for Moda.

The beautiful design is created using traditional patchwork techniques and fusible appliqué. The detailed pattern guides you through cutting your fabric, piecing the centre panel, preparing and adding the appliqué, adding borders and includes notes on preparing the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding

Moda fabric is 100% cotton, a lovely medium weight, and beautiful to sew with. The kit is presented in a calico cotton bag.

The ‘fabric supplied is sufficient to piece the quilt top and to bind. Please note, the kit does NOT include the following, which you will need to finish your quilt:
•Wadding 69" x 69" inches selling
•Backing fabric, 4 yds fabric (one horizontal seams)
•Matching thread for applique
•Neutral thread for piecing
•Quilting threads


The finished quilt measures 61 x 61 inches.

Having some patchwork experience will make this project easier, but the techniques are simple to learn, making it suitable for all experience levels.
