MARION GODART Paris Collier Résine Taillé Rouge Et Blanc Zèbrée
Red and white striped chunky necklace by Marion Godart Paris. It is made of 12 smoothed irregular shaped chunks hand-cut out of various shiny hard red and white layered resin sheets. Chunks are strung on a strong synthetic wire; necklace closes with an oversized hook and eye. Measures 19 1/4", each chunk measures 1 1/2 "x 1" approx. Very artistic design, nice bright red, distinct but very wearable. Old stock, never been worn.
Matching clip-on earrings are also available in the shop.
Because the resin is not regularly layered, every piece is different from any other and no necklace really is the same. Please bear in mind that as the resin is crafted by hand, sometimes there may be little bubbles or imperfections in color, in particular at the transitions. This is very common and accepted in the art of Marion Godart.
Marion Godart is a well known French jewelry designer from Paris working with Resin, Lucite and Bakelite since the 1960's. She is known for her brightly colored quirky, yet chic costume jewelry. Inspired by artistic trends of the beginning of twentieth century, her creativity plays with shapes, materials and ethnic influences and color always forms the frame. A pop and unconventional style that gives all pieces joy and dynamism! Marion Godart does not sign her work, but her pieces cannot be mistaken.
Please note that colors may not always be captured right in a photograph and can appear very different on different screens. If you have any doubts or selling questions, please ask before ordering to avoid disappointment.
