An extremely rare set by Noritake. Produced in 1921 the pattern is Mystery No. 80. Made in Japan and hand painted.
A 6-piece set which includes the 9.5" handled cake plate and 5 dessert plates measuring 6 1/8" in dia.
In amazing condition there is wear to the trim and a very small chip on the rim of one of the plates. Another plate does have a couple of "dents" around the rim that were painted over during manufacturing. The defects are noted in the photos. No cracks, stains or crazing. A beautiful set that will be a perfect match for your vintage, shabby chic home.
Hand washing is highly recommended. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
My packaging: In an effort to be more eco-conscious I reuse as many packaging materials as possible. Always, only clean packaging materials that consist of paper, tissue & bubble wrap. I use packing peanuts when necessary to provide the best shock absorption as many of my pieces are fragile and I want to provide them the best chance to arrive to their destination selling unbroken.
