Antique Tooled Leather Bound Photo selling Album, Mid 1800's, Gold Embossed, Old Photos, Metal Latch

Antique tooled leather bound and gold embossed photo album. Photo album age is around 1865. Pages are held tight to the spine. There are fifteen pages with thirty que photos. Edges are gold trimmed. Metal latch closes album. Sticker inside of front cover reads " Book Cover, patented July 5th, 1864 selling, October 17th, 1865. Inside page is embossed with gold ink "Photographs. Philadelphia. W.W. Harding, 326 Chestnut St.

Condition: Outside binder shows wear, but is attached. Pages have foxing, some tears. A few photos are fading but most are in excellent condition. For being over 150 years old, it is in very good condition. More photos are available.

Measures 4" x 5 1/2", 2 1/2" thick.
