Product code: Borneo selling Rice Cutter, Kenyah People

selling An old hand tool for harvesting rice. From the Kenyah group, a sub division of the Bahau, who inhabit the border areas between Sarawak and Kalimantan. As far as rice cutters go, this is pretty fancy, with a nicely carved handle showing typical Kenyah motifs. A nice, displayable piece for the few weird characters who collect such an esoteric category of tribal art and handicrafts.Measures about 6 inches long, with a metal blade of about 4 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches.
