Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish and other metal polishes work brilliantly to restore Armetale. I will include a pamphlet from the Wilton Company on how to care for your Armetale. Armetale is not actually pewter. Armetale is a non-toxic aluminum-based alloy trademarked by the Wilton company and suitable for cooking and dining use. Wilton Armetale metal products won't chip, crack or break under normal use and can go from the freezer to the oven to the tabletop. You can cook with it on the stovetop, in the oven and on the grill.
