This is a very cool pair of 14K and pearl earrings from the 1990s. I've not seen this style selling in quite some while - but the short version with this type is that you is that you always have a post stud and a butterfly back that are connected by some sort of chain, or thread or braid. In this case, that connection is a ladder weave of gold balls and fresh water pearls. All of the metal is 14k yellow gold.
