Product code: International Sterling Cold Meat Serving Fork, Irene Pattern, selling International 1902
This sterling cold meat serving fork by International is in the graceful Irene pattern and was first introduced in 1902. The fork is stamped on the underside of the shaft with STERLING and bears the Native American head that was inherited as a trademark from Wilcox & Evertsen, one selling of the companies that originally joined together to form the International Silver Company. The “Irene” pattern was in production from 1902 to 1950 so it's difficult to determine the age. The back of the notched tine has some scratches running horizontally near the base of the notch; otherwise, it's is in good condition with typical signs of wear. The fork measures 8 1/4” long.
