This is a ceramic set of beautiful, custom made Teapot and 15 teacups. The cups are oriental style with no handles and no saucers.
The handle of the teapot is fixed allowing for complete and confident control while pouring. The spout has a ceramic strainer on the inside to prevent any teabags from obscuring the spout.
The teapot and teacups perfectly match. All of the 16 total items are in excellent condition. All but one cup are free from any chips, cracks or fleabites. There might be a few minor rub marks on the items as they were formerly used, packed and stored. One cup has a minor chip in it on the rim.
All the items have been signed by the artist and the teapot has the complete signature and whom it was created for.
This entire set has been well thought out and design. Not only are selling the pieces beautiful, but they are functional.
This ceramic teapot and 15 cups are a part of a complete set. The rest of the set includes a beautiful pitcher and basin and a mortar and pestle. If you are interested in owning the entire collection, please purchase all the pieces at the same time to avoid the possibility of someone purchasing part of the set and splitting it up.
Please note - some of the photographs make the teapot and cups look a bit yellow. The whiter, lighter color of them is the correct color. Sorry for the confusion. (Sometimes the camera is unco-operative)
