Danish selling Art Deco Design Jacob E Bang Holmegaard Scandinavian Vintage Cobalt Blue Pressed Glass Retro Kitchen Dining Table Fruit Bowl

I'm just loving this richly regal, deep Cobalt blue at the moment and wanted to share that with you as you might too.

This conical “Deco-Esk” pressed glass bowl was made as part of a larger selling, day to day domestic set by Jacob E. Bang for Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark.

The production of this particular line ran from 1938 to 1941.

Pure “Direct Deco” geometry coupled with rich velvety Cobalt. A winning combination…what do you think?


MEASUREMENTS

9.5cm high x 21cm wide at the rim.

CONDITION

No chips or cracks but does show heavy wear and tear on the interior due to being a used, kitchen item 80 years old. He has a few bubbles too.
