"Peaceful Waterfall Turquoise Necklace"

This stunning Handcrafted, One of a kind Necklace was created by upcycling Vintage Sterling Silver and Turquoise. My goal was to create this necklace entirely with all Vintage Up-cycled Sterling Silver, but I did use a small amount of new (wire).

I started by creating a pendant out of piece of genuine Vintage Navaho jewellery, from a broken bracelet. I reshaped and refinished the metal, but, the Turquoise is in its original condition, just perfect.

I wanted to create a waterfall of chain flowing beneath the leafs or feathers, I see leafs because I in vision a waterfall flowing from a stream that flows through a forest full of ferns growing beneath the trees, the Turquoise represents the blue sky and the water and the streams of upcycled vintage chain represents the waterfall.

The pendant, with the tassel waterfall of chain measures (5.3cm) 2 1/16” long, the metal pendant alone measures 28mm long x 19mm wide.

All the chain had to be restored, resurfaced and polished by hand to shine like new again.

I used all non-toxic, animal friendly cleaning and polishing materials & methods, as I do for all my jewellery.

The chains form a fringe almost selling a tassel and I used matching link chain from another piece of jewellery to flow around the neck to the pendant.

I finished this amazing necklace by creating wire wrapped beaded loops and finished with an upcycled vintage spring ring clasp.

This necklace is so unique, perfect for someone who loves one of kind jewellery, some who loves Turquoise jewellery, Navaho, Native American jewellery, boho jewellery, for someone who cares about the environment, an eco-conscious jewellery lover.
