The largest signed water color that Wallace Nutting sold, hand painted by teachers off for the summer. This picture titled KATHLEEN was one he took on his trip to Ireland, it is close framed ( no Mail) 44x 24. With his signature( Wallace Nutting) My wife and I have had the privilege of owning this for the last 40 years. We purchases it from the Monroe's ( avid collector and promoters of the Baptist minister, turned photographer, turned entrepreneur - in there NJ home in the early 80's:) For many years it hung in our Restaurant, and was admired by many. We had the frame strengthening and added new wires, otherwise it's in tact as original from the shop, sold new in the 1920. All his Photographs are hand colored black and white photographs- as there were no colored photographs, at that time.
