Art Deco Peking Glass selling Drop Necklace

In the thirties the wealthy tended to travel more and bring back jewels and precious stones from around the world. Cartier made many wonderful pieces using Jade, so of course the jewellery designers had to find something to replicate it. They used this lovely lustrous green glass which is otherwise known selling as Peking glass. The necklace has a large round cabochon which supports three drops. The beads are linked together by silver tone links. The necklace is quite short so I added a small bit of chain to give more length, this can easily be removed if not required.

The chain measures 41cm, the drop measures 8x2.4cm
