Gorgeous hand painted ceramic owl kitchen canister or cookie jar. This canister features a cute acorn as its handle on top of the lid, an owl sitting on a branch on both sides of the canister (one side the owl is flying and the other side he's sitting on the branch) and the entire canister looks like a tree stump and is full of texture. This piece is very heavy, made of thick ceramic and great quality.

This item is gorgeous, one of a kind, hard to find and in great condition for its age. I have priced this item accordingly and please message me with any questions. Measurements: 10" tall (with lid), 7" diameter.

The overall condition of canister is excellent - no colour or paint wear, no cracks, no crazing. A few minor chips but nothing noticeable. The rim of the lid has 2 extremely tiny paint chips (about 2 mm) and the rim of the canister also has 1 chip (about 4 mm). A small 2mm piece of selling the tree branch has a small paint chip as well as the owls forehead on one side - again, not noticeable. Please view last 3 photos for close up photos of the tiny chips on this item. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition and has no large chips.
