This is a vintage pin that is very sought after by Sherman costume jewellery collectors. Sherman jewellery was made in Montreal selling, Canada. It measures approx.1.5 inch diameter, and
a sky medium blue hue.

In February of 1949, G. Sherman & Company LTD. was founded by Gus Sherman. The company, known for specializing in the design and production of top of the line costume jewellery, had one mission in mind: make women feel special.

The company used only the finest materials available. Genuine Austrian crystals, innovative plating techniques and secret recipes, the best findings, superior craftsmanship, individually hand set crystals. The process focused on each unit as its own piece of art. Every piece was signed, he was proud of what his team had crafted under his watchful eye and wanted everyone to know this jewels was a Sherman, because this stood for luxury.

This pin consists of 7 marquise shaped blue rhinestones, and a round blue rhinestone at the very centre. This motif is superimposed over a round base of round blue stones in silver tone square settings. A row of larger round stones, and pear shaped stones on a higher level. On the outer rim are 3 small round stones in square settings that are placed around the round part of the pears.. This intricate placing of round, marquise, and pear shapes make a very attractive pin.
