This is an antique enameled .800 silver european snuff box/compact that has a lid selling which is decorated with a colorful scene of two lovers of a risque neo classical nature. There is engraving that has been inlaid with enamel and it is also engraved on all sides and the bottom. There is damage on top that i have take a picture of but also may have been original to the piece when it was made because it really doesnt look like a chip. There is also a light scratch from age. Strong hinge and click closing lid. Measures approx. 2" x 1 3/8" x 3/8".
