Vintage Blue Garland Floral Ceramic Oval Serving Platter Dish Plate by Johann Haviland BAVARIA Germany, Vintage Victorian Farm Country Decor. This vintage, porcelain serving platter is the epitome of elegance! Made by Johann Haviland in Bavaria, Germany. Oval in shape with an elegantly scalloped outer rim, embellished with platinum silver along the outer edge. The top side of the platter features a blue flower motif throughout. This particular "Blue Garland" pattern (made in Bavaria) is now discontinued, but was circulated from the 1970s to the 1990s. Can be used as a serving dish, or even as a decorative plate to display special treasures.

This piece measures approx. 13 inches long x 9.5 inches wide at its widest point x 1.25 inches tall/deep. The back is marked, "Johann Haviland BAVARIA Germany."

In good vintage condition overall, with some light general wear due to age, such as minor surface scratches, scuffs, spots, dings, faded color/paint in places, selling imperfections in the glaze, etc. No major visible damage. We think the light wear only enhances this piece's vintage character.
